Terms of Service

Work is quoted by telephone before a technician is dispatched. The quote includes the $89 service call and cannot be increased once the technician is at the door; it changes only where you alter the scope on site, and then only with a fresh quote agreed first.

Ranges on these pages are typical figures rather than offers. Attendance in the evening adds +$52 and overnight +$92; both are included in the quoted total.

For lockouts the technician verifies that the customer has the right to access the property or vehicle — identification showing the address, a lease, a registration, or an owner or manager confirming. Where that is not reasonably possible, service is declined.

Locks are picked or manipulated where that can be done. Drilling is used only with your express approval, given after the replacement hardware and its price have been explained.

Labour is warranted for 90 days from the visit; hardware is covered by its manufacturer. Neither warranty covers misuse, later forced entry, or subsequent alteration by others.

Payment is taken on completion, by card or contactless, with an itemised electronic invoice to follow. Where a technician has been dispatched and arrives, a cancellation or no-show fee as quoted may be charged.

To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from the services is limited to the amount paid for the job concerned; liability which cannot lawfully be limited is unaffected.

These terms are governed by CA law, and disputes are heard in the courts having jurisdiction over Mountain View.
